A Simgui SOI wafer is featured by: Increased Speed At a given voltage, circuit built on Simgui wafers operate up to 30 percent faster than their bulk silicon counterparts. This can greatly enhance the performance of microprocessors and other devices. Reduced Power Consumption As Simgui wafers can reduce power consumption by as much as 50 percent, they are highly suitable for use in portable devices which rely much on battery power. Improved Tolerance Simgui wafer can tolerate temperatures as high as 350 degrees centigrade, where equipment must perform reliably under environmentally harsh conditions. Reduced Circuit Area and Package Size Smaller circuit areas are made available by an increase in circuit density within a smaller chip size.
